Broadford (home)
I spent today loafing at home. Washed my clothes in the all-in-one Whirlpool washer/dryer, and it worked just fine for me. My clothes were almost totally dry by the time I went into Limerick with Ramona. Not everyone has been so lucky…
Sheila washed her clothes the night before, and flooded the pantry. It turned out the door to the washer hadn’t been shut tightly, and water cascaded out. I missed all the excitement; I believe I slept through it all. The only evidence left was the damp towel on the floor.
My jeans were slightly damp, so I hung them on the towel warmer (!) while I showered. Nice and warm when I went to put them on, lovely… And I forgot my pj’s, dang it!
Ramona and I went into Limerick in the afternoon to use the internet café I’d found on Friday. After considerable rambling around, I finally found it. A rather unpleasant visit this time; several junior high school age children were in there, and quite obnoxious and noisy they were! Kids! The woman in charge finally ran them off-too noisy, viewing porn (Ramona reported that), and too many on one computer. Much more pleasant after the little cretins left. We went straight home, as not many of the stores were open, and it was supposed to be just an internet trip anyway.
